Sidewalk fall results in personal injury claim

In Alabama, property and business owners are legally obligated to provide a safe environment for customers and visitors. According to the lawsuit, the woman was leaving her apartment and encountered water and a buildup of mud and debris on the sidewalk.

The woman claims her shoe got caught in the mud and debris which caused her to lose her balance. She fell and hit the concrete hard, causing her to suffer injuries, the lawsuit alleges. The woman seeks to hold the defendants responsible over claims that they failed to properly maintain the sidewalk. The plaintiff seeks monetary damages and all just relief.
